VaultVM runs offline once setup is complete. A one-time download stages the files needed during installation.

What happens next

Open the disk image, then VaultSetup

Open the downloaded .dmg, then double-click VaultSetup.app. If macOS blocks the app, use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, then right-click VaultSetup.app → Open.

Enter the same install key

In VaultSetup Step 1, enter the same key you used on this page. Step 2 verifies it with BlockForward and downloads the remaining setup files (~8 GB, resumable) — including the Ubuntu ISO. No flash drive required.

Follow the setup wizard

Create your VaultVM, bring Iris online, and complete registration. After setup, VaultVM runs offline on your Mac — no cloud, no subscriptions.
